Return Material Authorization

Link Waves will accept merchandise for return with prior approval, for credit or replacement only. Please note, the following products are NOT returnable: Opened products, custom cables, bulk cable, connectors, tools, test equipment, configured products, special orders, and discontinued items. 

Returns of Working Product 

Product returns are subject to Link Waves approval and at the Company's sole discretion, Link Waves will issue a refund - less a 20% re-stocking fee - on all returns of working product, provided that the following conditions are met:

  • Client follows the requisite procedures described below (see "Procedures: Returns of Working Product").
  • Client request for an RMA must be received within thirty (30) days of invoice date.
  • Client returns product in the condition in which it was delivered (all product received otherwise will not be accepted).

Procedure:

  1. Begin the process by contacting your Account Manager at 877.207.8998 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Form. If approved, you will receive the RMA via fax.
  2. If the return is approved by Link Waves, your sales representative will require you to sign and fax back Link Waves's "RMA Form." A refund will not occur without the completion and receipt of this form.
  3. You must re-package the product such that Link Waves receives it in the same condition in which it was originally delivered. Working product must be received by Link Waves within 30 calendar days of original receipt.
  4. In all cases (unless a product is shipped in error), the client accepts responsibility for the cost of freight (both original and return shipment).

Important: You must enclose the RMA Form with your return. ALL returns must include the RMA Number clearly marked on the shipping label (DO NOT WRITE ON ANY BOXES.) Returns not properly marked, as well as any products and/or quantities that don't match the original RMA, may be refused. ALL RMA numbers expire thirty (30) days after issuance, therefore all return products must be RECEIVED at Link Waves within the thirty (30) day time frame, otherwise product will be refused. Product received after 30 calendar days will not be accepted by Link Waves and will not be eligible for refund or credit. Warranties, service agreements, etc. are not eligible for return; contact your sales representative if you have any questions about product eligibility.

Returns of Non-Working/Defective Product

Link Waves will replace all non-working/defective ("defective") product overnight (on a best-efforts basis) provided that the following conditions are met:
    * Client follows the requisite procedures described below (see "Procedures: Returns of Working Product").
    * Client returns product within one year from the original date of purchase.
    * Client returns product in the condition in which it was delivered (all product received otherwise will not be accepted).

To ensure your matter is handled properly, please note the following policies:
    * Defective product must be returned to / received by Link Waves within 14 calendar days upon receipt of a replacement product, or it will not be accepted by Link Waves.
    * If defective product is not returned to / received by Link Waves within 14 calendar days, the client will be charged the full purchase price of both the defective product and the replacement product.
    * Client will be issued a refund at the sole discretion of Link Waves if an item cannot be replaced in a timely manner.

Procedure:
   1. If your (the client's) product appears to be defective or is not functioning properly, please contact your sales representative first to troubleshoot the matter.

   2. If Link Waves approves the return of a non-working/defective ("defective") product, your sales representative will require you to sign and fax back Link Waves's RMA Form. A replacement will not occur without the completion and receipt of this form.
   3. After completing the RMA form, re-package the defective product such that Link Waves receives it in the same condition in which it was originally delivered. Defective product must be returned within 14 calendar days of replacement (see policies above).
   4. In most cases, Link Waves will accept responsibility for the cost of freight.
   5. In the event Link Waves cannot replace your product in a timely fashion, Link Waves will issue a refund.
